Accident And Near-Miss Tool Webinar From HSE Partner TSO

13 November, 11am to 12pm

The free webinar from HSE's publishing partner, TSO, unveils the new Accident and Near-miss Tool that the HSE is promoting.

The tool is designed to help organisations streamline incident reporting and aid compliance with RIDDOR requirements.

The tool is described by the TSO on their webinar registration page:

'The Accident and Near-miss Tool helps organisations reduce the burden of managing incident records while ensuring compliance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR). It automates the collection of accident and near-miss records, allowing teams to filter by location, type or theme (for example, slips, stress or musculoskeletal disorders). This helps you understand how risks occur and take informed preventive measures.'

Ostensibly aimed at the employer, it provides valuable information for USRs too, in terms of what the employer should be doing and giving USRs the ability to raise this issue with their employer in a positive manner; being able to offer a suggestion for those employers not currently adhering to RIDDOR.

CWU USRs may find this information helpful when addressing both Royal Mail and BT/EE, not to mention other employers were the union has recognition.
